Take my time to be connected, I will take my time to take a break!
Some people have the problem that they have too much access to information – other people have the opposite problem. They don’t have enough access to information. Wouldn’t it be so great if one gives away his access for some time and the other receives it?
Take My Time is a concept for sharing access to information with the ones that are in need. By pressing the offline button on a smartphone application, the user can provide his access to someone else and enjoy a “socially accepted” timeout from being connected permanently.
This concept is the result of a 3-week Design Thinking workshop at Hasso Plattner Institut (HPI), together with Pauline Tonhauser, Caroline Szymanski and Rio Leipold.
Take My Time was qualified for the Zukunftspreis Kommunikation 2011 in Frankfurt/Main.
